Assis MG-3 | The AADVAR (Association of Friends and Visually Handicapped of Assis and Region) is a local non governmental organization and non profitable association with the aim of helping the irreversible visually handicapped people. The AADVAR promotes their social integration by their education at a special school, teaches them professional skills and also works for their rights and interests. Assis MG-4 | This project seeks to acquire equipment needed for the “Fundação Futuro” program. The aim of this project is to take the poor youth of our city off the streets, giving them direction and education. The people involved in this project are also concerned about helping to guide these teenagers back into mainstream society. These people work to restore as many of the young people as possible to a place of responsibility in their communities and to themselves. In partnership with this project, some of the companies of our city will contract with these young people and place them as office boys or girls, receiving financial support to provide educational and material needs that can be used for all the family. | 15,000.00 | |
Marília MG-5 | The Kardecist (Spiritist) Hospital of Marília(psychiatric hospital) serves a regional area located in the midwest of São Paulo state with a total of one million inhabitants and about 80 (eighty) counties; it's a nonprofit charitable institution, serves 4.000(four thousand) patients per year and maintains facilities for one thousand and five hundred(1.500) meals a day. It's the only Hospital in the region with these characteristics. It needs equipments to improve efficiency in administration, in the kitchen, laundry and orientation of patients. | 19,000.00 | |
Marília MG-6 | Provide incoming money for mothers while their children receive comprehensive care at nearby nursery. For this we will set up a bakery and a craft workshop for industrial sewing. A partnership with SESI (industrial trainning organization) instructors will guide the mothers in the production of breads and cakes, and execution of the sewing industry. Cândido Mota MG-7 | The Candido Mota Cancer Association is a community-based voluntary health institution which, since 1996, assists for free the population of Cândido Mota. Among its goals, all aimed at assisting people with cancer, are to assist the economic, moral, social, cultural, physical and psychological for patients and their families, train volunteers for the development of activities related to cancer prevention and cure, create and develop projects to provide guidelines and illustrate the public about this terrible disease. The institution has 70 volunteers and assists 250 patients; they also conduct lectures about cancer and its prevention to the population. The association gives food and clothes to the needy patients and their families, visit them, keep psychological monitoring, schedule and pay some medical exams and medicines. To conduct their projects, the institution makes fundraising events, like the “Chocolate Party”, the “Perfect Love Sale”, “Handmade Products Sale”, and “Party Night”. This project aims to acquire the equipments for helping the institution to conduct their activities and fundraising events. Bauru MG-8 | Down Syndrome rehab. The project aims the implementation of sport activities and equipment for the Rehabilitation Center of Apae-Bauru, benefiting the biopsychosocial and physical development, improvement in quality of life, the self-esteem, the independence and autonomy. Marilia Tradição MG-9 | Environment and help poor comunity. Implementation of electric structure, perforation of artesian well and agricultural greenhouse. Vinhas do Senhor, the Community Vegetable Garden aims to attending a basic necessity that is the feeding, of a poor community located in the city of Marília. In this place, about 80 families work voluntarily, joined in fellowship. That encloses a diversity of foods, as: beetroot, corn, maize, carrot, pumpkin, radish, garlic and diverse vegetables, such as chive, parsley, borecole, cabbage and almost all the types of lettuce. Moreover, every Wednesdays is carried out a “sopão”, which is a big soup mix with all the vegetables from the community vegetable garden, produced in their own kitchen and made by volunteers. Due to dealing with a very poor community, the necessary manufactured products, tools and materials, such as gas, are always a result of donation of people with the ideal to serve. | 22,450.00 | See details |
Tupi Paulista MG-10 | Down Syndrome rehab. APAE - Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (Association of Parents and Friends of Handicapped children) is an entity of educational care character, with no lucrative interest, in which it has as main intention give support and attendance to the carrying person of deficiency. In Tupi Paulista, a small town in the state of São Paulo - Brazil, with approximately 13,500 inhabitants, and there are about 1,400 people compromised for diverse types of deficiency. Tupã MG-11 | Recycling. Community association Tupaense of recycling, in the city of Tupã - SP - Brazil, has the purpose to fight for the extinction of the work in the open garbage, the part of the adults and children and they develop activities that guarantee it a worthy social conviviality and surrender for its support and of its relatives. This association is formed by 40 families, what corresponds to 200 people, that had left the existent garbage in the city, e shelters it was idealized by a rotary companion of Tupã Vanuíre, Rotary Club is partner in the making of the drums for the selective collection and in the project of existent literacy in the place. The plan to be acquired will help in the increase of the daily production of the matter recycled, propitiating an increase of income for the associates and the increase possibility in the amount of people to be benefitted in the association, and the computers will contribute to digital inclusion of the students associated to the association. Osvaldo Cruz MG-13 | The "Cantinho e Recanto da Criança e do Adolescente Alice Bernardes Silva" is a non profitable institution that provides free support to child and teenagers between the ages of zero to 14 years old. Since it is a philanthropic organization it is hard to provide the necessary services by itself. Therefore it relies on donations from the community and on its staff – recruited as volunteers without any payment – to do their best to promote events to raise the necessary funds to pay for its upkeep. In view of the growing number of children and teenagers living in constant danger (exposed to drugs, prostitution and violence) and without basic provision, this project aims to support these people offering many social and educational activities. The desire for a better life, the courage, and the willpower of these children/teenagers and their families, as well as the hope to change their own history in face of the inappropriate income distribution system motivates the entity to offer the basic service this quest needs. | 15,903.00 | See details |

Cândido Mota MG-15 | The “Santa Casa de Misericórdia Imaculada Conceição Charity Association Hospital” is a beneficent association of assisting and philanthropic character. The Hospital was founded in 1981. Since 1991, Rotary Club of Cândido Mota has been developing activities in partnership with the Hospital. The Hospital assists more than 5000 people a month in several areas, including emergency room, surgery, and medical advice in cardiology, gynecology, gastric, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, pediatrics and physical therapy. Presidente Prudente Alvorada MG-16 | The objective of Lumen is to meet the children and teenagers living in Presidente Prudente and region, with severe neuromotor or neuromuscular diseases and the person with autism syndrome, offering a treatment of (re) habilitation, with actions focused on educational and therapeutic area, and is characterized by being the only city that have interdisciplinary work of the technical team (Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Education, Psychology, Social Work and Occupational Therapy). | Presidente Venceslau MG-18 | The objective of this Project is to preserve a water spring through a construction of a water pond with large capacity of water retention. This area used to belong to the city but there was a little creek with soil erosion and the surroundings were used as a waste dump for a long time. The city and the population started building a few years ago a little canal and recovering the area by cleaning it and planting trees around it. This water pond will be built in the shape of the Rotary emblem. Os Subsídios Equivalentes tem como objetivo apoiar projetos de prestação de serviços humanitários com a participação de Rotary Clubs ou distritos de pelo menos dois países diferentes.
A Fundação Rotária equipara US$ 1 para cada US$ 1 de contribuição proveniente do FDUC (Fundo Distrital de Utilização Controlada) e US$ 0,50 para cada US$ 1 de contribuições dos clubes.
Os valores dos Subsídios Equivalentes oscilam entre US$ 5.000,00 e US$ 25.000,00 (equiparação da Fundação Rotária) e os com base em mérito de US$ 25.001,00 à US$ 150.000,00.
